Setting goals
Keeping busy with self-employment is a great way to keep yourself occupied and expand your boundaries. At times it might feel like you are not progressing while you actually would very much like to do so. Instead of running around like a headless chicken trying to seek some new project or task take some time you sit down and make a structured long-term plan. Set weekly tasks and divide each big hoard into smaller pieces. Keep yourself motivated by creating a big jar with small rewards written down on a piece of paper. allow yourself to pick one each time you manage to complete a goal. This system of building in some positive feedback will help you to stay focused and oriented. A long-term project could be something as concrete as a study or job but learning a new skill or language could also be used as an example.
Possible rewards.
You could work with a rewards jar for the
smaller steps you make and set yourself a bigger present once you have achieved
the overall goal.
