positive personality traits

Focusing on negative traits and enhancing these is something which we people tend to do very easily. Often without noticing we downgrade ourselves to make others feel better. For example,' you look way prettier in that dress like I would' or 'I wish my hair was not so thin and had a nicer colour.' This causes our own self esteem to diminish and makes you feel less worthy. This process is totally not the best way to proceed it you want to learn to accept yourself and love yourself. Instead of highlighting your flaws you should focus in all your positive character traits. This might seem very 'selfish' and not natural in the beginning but it is an exercise you need to get used to. After all we are all equals but we all have our strong and weak points. This exercise is not hard at all and takes and minutes every morning but will make a huge difference if you are persistent.

Grab a sticky note and take some time to think of 5 good character traits you identify yourself with. This can be many things like sportive, creative, a good listener, a talented singer, honest, caring, intelligent, etc.
Once you have written down these abilities stick the note somewhere you walk across every morning during your sadly routine, preferably a mirror. While getting ready during the mornings allow yourself 5 minutes to pause and name these traits to yourself and why they suit you. Don't be hasty and quit after a few days. It takes time and effort.
Once you have trained these particular strong points to your liking you can switch them up for 5 new ones or simple keep your routine and add some extra.
