Chic tuna treat

Served a fancy lunch every once in a while needs to be
acceptable. As it is my last weekend before the exams start I need some extra
yummy brains foods! To stimulate my concentration I added a piece of tuna to my
salad. This fish contains many goods omega 3 and 6 fats which will keep me
satisfied until dinner. As I' m studying all different kinds of cutting
techniques I attempted to go somewhat rather chic and chop the carrots,
samphire, and zucchini brunoise (into cubes) to practice my chopping skills and
grill them for a short while to soften them.
Serve the veggies on a big pile of spinach so it will be wilted slightly.
Add some randomly cut cherry tomatoes to add a playful and sweet element to the
salad. Finally add a big piece of grilled tuna on the middle! It deserves to be
the star of the dish. Grilled 1 minute on both sides so it is pink in the
middle yet charred on the outside. Garnish with the shiso cress and some wasabi
mix if you want to spice it up. I am normally not a big supporter on drinking alcohol
in the afternoon however, a nice glass of good sake would make this the perfect
lunch!
