Somewhat spooky smoothie

This smoothie is an excellent wake up call for those who can't manage to eat a substantial breakfast in the morning. It does only require 5 minutes of preparation and you can make a bigger batch to serve for the rest of the week. I agree it might not look very appealing due to the blend, slightly greenish colour, however it is very tasty! The matcha is what causes the smoothie to have an odd look but it adds a sweet, fresh flavour and many antioxidants. I'm not a huge fan of adding all kinds of nuts and superfood to my smoothies, I prefer them yummy and fruity. Simply mix some pre-made iced tea, matcha, milk and any kind of fruits you like. I love to mix a wide variety like pine apple, kiwi, Apple, pear, blue berries and strawberries. Use a kitchen blender to make the smoothie to the consistency you like. Mix in a teaspoon of flax seeds for a little crunch and pour everything in a sealable Mason jar so you can carry it along to your work on a busy week day. I do recommend to eat something more substantial like a Granola bar after a few hours but this breakfast will definitely keep you going during the morning and serve your 2 fruits a day!

Ingredients: 250 grams of frozen, mixed fruits, 200 ml of almond milk, 100 ml of iced tea with lime, 1 teaspoon of matcha, 1 teaspoon on flax seeds.
