Chorizo Cravings

A simple sketch of tonight' s situation; My dear brother tells me 'I'm out with friends don't know when I will be back, BYE.' Of course it's good that he wants to hang out with friends but now I'm left clueless whether or not to expect him home for dinner. However I know that when I tell him I will be making my chorizo, potato bake he will be back before dinner. It is simple, Spanish inspired dinner dish for when you don't have much time but still want that comforting meal. This is one of my cheat meals where I opt for pre-boiled potato balls so I will be done a lot faster with cooking. I start by baking the chorizo before putting anything else in the pan. The natural oils within the dried meat will make the seasoning for the remaining ingredients. There are many kinds of chorizo which all differ of composition. They may vary in pepper, paprika powder or garlic. I normally choose a mild one because I like to season my potatoes with a favourite seasoning mix of mine which consists of fennel seeds, cumin, coriander, bay leaves and many more aromas. After 5 minutes of baking the sausage add the potatoes and bake for an additional 10 minutes before added the remaining ingredients. Turn down the heat and sauté the dish for 10 minutes before serving it in a big bowl. Put a smmile on your face as you hear the doorbell ring and because brother dearest has returned home

Ingredients: 150 grams of potatoes, 150 gram of green beans, 100 gram of tomatoes, 75 grams of chorizo, 60 grams of pink onion, 1 teaspoon of Spanish spice blend.
